Location

The restaurant enjoys an enviable location right on the coast at Green Island, an attractive bay in Jersey’s little coastal parish of St Clement. Please see the interactive photo and map below for our exact location:

Directions

From the Airport:

Leave the airport and take the first exit at the mini-roundabout, following the sign for St Helier. Continue along this road, taking the second exit at the next roundabout (again, following for St Helier). Proceed down this hill (Route de Beaumont) and turn left at the Filter-In-Turn junction at the bottom. Continue along this road (Route de la Haule) and it eventually becomes a dual-carriageway (Victoria Avenue). Proceed along this route, moving safely into the middle lane where it eventually splits into three lanes at the traffic lights on The Esplanade. Continue in this middle lane, and you will pass through the tunnel. As you exit the tunnel, take the second main exit at the roundabout (labelled Gorey/The East - roughly at the 1 o’clock position). Continue straight along this road, passing through a couple of sets of traffic lights. As you pass the Co-Op on your left, the road splits into two lanes. Remain on the road as it becomes the right-hand lane. As you pass through the traffic lights and continue on, the road gradually bears to the right through Georgetown. You will pass through some more traffic lights and eventually come to a stop where you meet the coast road. Turn left at this junction and then proceed along this road (Grande Route de la Côte/St Clement’s Coast Road). You will pass through one more set of traffic lights, and then you will pass the Samarès Coast Hotel on your left, the La Mare car park on your right and, as the road bears left, the Spar shop and the Samarès Methodist Church. As you pass these last two, slow down and prepare to turn right. As you come round the corner, Green Island is the immediate turning on your right.

From St Helier and the Harbour:

If in St Helier, find your way to the Green Street roundabout (at the entrance to the tunnel).
If you are leaving the harbour (ferry terminal), go straight on at the first mini-roundabout you get to, and take the third exit at the next roundabout. Merge safely into the middle lane of the three-lane carriageway you are now in the left lane of and proceed through the tunnel.

At the Green Street roundabout, take the exit labelled Gorey/The East (the second main exit, at roughly the 1 o’clock position if you are just coming out of the tunnel).

From Gorey:

Proceed along the main road (Rue à Don/Gorey Coast Road) in the direction of St Helier, but simply remain on this road as it follows the coast through Grouville and St Clement. When you pass the Shakespeare Hotel on your right, you are approaching Green Island, and at the next junction a few hundred metres down the road, take the left turning.

By Bus:

A regular bus service stops a few steps away from the restaurant. Travelling either from St Helier or Gorey, take the Number 1 bus and ask for a ticket to Green Island.
